Rainbow Ridge Golf Course (Manitowaning) - The host Manitoulin Mustang boys were the class of the field at NOSSA Golf on Friday, cruising to a 10 stroke win over three schools posting total scores of 336.

The aggregate totals are derived by totalling the best four scores amongst up to five golfers from each school. Manitoulin finished with a total of 326, while St Joseph/Scollard Hall of North Bay, Lively and Lasalle all tied with totals of 336.

In boys' individual play, scores were much tighter. James Beaudoin recorded a 75 to land in first place, followed by Roddy McLeod of Confederation with 76 and Brook Albion of Lasalle with 77.

In girls' team competition, the best four scores amongst golfers representing each of the four Districts are added to arrive at a "best District" score. To this end, the Sudbury District placed first by posting a total of 316, followed by Nipissing District with 326.

In girls' individual play, Kathryn Corbière of Lasalle topped the field with a final score of 92, followed by Julia Know of Widdifield with 104 and Ashley Hammel of St. Joseph/Scollard Hall with 105.
